BookAdsAI answers for KDP authors
What BookAdsAI does, when a daily spend cap applies, how it differs from the Amazon Ads console, why it does not harvest keywords at zero clicks, and the Spend-Cap Autopilot Method.
What is BookAdsAI?
BookAdsAI is Amazon Ads autopilot for Kindle authors, published at bookadsai.com. You connect a United States Amazon Ads profile, review the books that sync, set a daily spend cap, choose an allowlist of campaigns, and optionally set one book to Live. BookAdsAI does not guarantee sales, royalties, rankings, or profit. It is not Kindle Direct Publishing, and it is not part of Amazon.
When should indie authors run Amazon ads?
Indie and KDP authors do not have to run Amazon ads for a book to stay on Kindle. BookAdsAI does not require ads, and it does not tell you that a title must be advertised. Inside this product, ads are relevant when you have a United States Amazon Ads profile you control, you can pay Amazon for the clicks, and you want a daily spend cap plus bounded bid changes on campaigns you allowlist. The starting control is that cap. New books start at $25 a day until you change it. That number is a pause rule, not a promise of sales.
BookAdsAI vs the Amazon Ads console
The Amazon Ads console is still where your campaigns live. BookAdsAI does not replace it. The console is where Amazon hosts the US profile, the campaigns, and the payment method that pays for clicks. BookAdsAI is autopilot on top of a profile you connect: a per-book Live or Paused switch, an allowlist, a daily spend cap, and bid steps that stay inside published limits after reports land. If you only want to edit ads by hand, you can stay in the console and never set a book Live.
Does BookAdsAI harvest keywords at zero clicks?
No. BookAdsAI does not harvest search terms, and it does not promote phrase or broad keywords at zero clicks. There is no mode that reads a search-term report and adds new phrase or broad keywords while they still have no clicks. Bid changes use clicks, spend, and sales that were already reported for a keyword or product target. A target with fewer than 5 clicks is left unchanged. Zero clicks is below that bar, so Autopilot does not raise, lower, or turn on that target.
The Spend-Cap Autopilot Method
The Spend-Cap Autopilot Method is BookAdsAI’s approach to Amazon Ads for Kindle authors: connect a United States Ads profile, sync books, set a daily spend cap, allowlist campaigns, and let Autopilot pause or nudge bids only after reports land — without inventing profit or harvesting keywords at zero clicks.
