What is BookAdsAI?
BookAdsAI is Amazon Ads autopilot for Kindle authors, published at bookadsai.com. You connect a United States Amazon Ads profile, review the books that sync, set a daily spend cap, choose an allowlist of campaigns, and optionally set one book to Live. BookAdsAI does not guarantee sales, royalties, rankings, or profit. It is not Kindle Direct Publishing, and it is not part of Amazon.
Which Amazon account connects, and which books sync
This version connects one United States Amazon Ads profile. The production return URL is https://bookadsai.com/api/auth/amazon/callback. Profiles outside the United States are not selected. Connecting does not add UK, DE, CA, or other marketplaces. An account is for one author, including that author’s pen names. Connect a profile you control. BookAdsAI is not a way to operate someone else’s catalog.
After Connect, BookAdsAI lists Sponsored Products product ads in every state the Ads API allows, not only enabled or paused. It can also list Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display product ads when that same Login with Amazon grant can read them. It then looks up other Kindle titles for authors found on those ASINs. A byline that belongs to someone else is dropped. ASINs that appear only as competitor product targets are not added as your books.
Titles come from campaign names or the product page. Covers come from Amazon’s public image CDN, then a product lookup when that lookup is configured. Import is idempotent: running it again does not duplicate ASINs. Every new row stays Autopilot Paused. Paused means the daily job will not change that book. Live is per book, and turning one book Live does not turn the others on. If a pen name is missing, add it in Settings before you expect those titles to appear.
Sync can place campaign IDs from that book’s product ads onto the allowlist. You can edit the list on the book page. If the allowlist is empty, Autopilot will not touch campaigns. A campaign that is not listed is not edited, even if it advertises the same ASIN in the Amazon Ads console.
What Autopilot may change on a Live book
The daily job runs after reports land. You can also click Run now on the book page, which reviews the latest reported rows already stored. BookAdsAI does not invent spend, sales, or royalties when a report is missing. On the dashboard, a missing report shows as zero. Profit there is royalties minus ad spend from reports that landed. That figure is not ACOS, and it is not a forecast of next month.
On a Live book with an allowlist, two kinds of change are possible. When today’s reported spend for that book reaches the daily spend cap, the job pauses the eligible allowlisted campaigns and does not also change bids on that run. New books start at a $25 cap until you set another amount. A bid can move only when reported rows exist for that keyword or product target, the target has at least 5 clicks, and it has some reported spend. The step is at most 10% of the current bid. The bid is never set above $2.50 or below $0.20. If that step would not change the bid, Autopilot leaves it.
ACOS in this rule is reported ad spend divided by reported ad-attributed sales, not royalties. Above 40% ACOS, including spend with no sales, the bid steps down. Under 15% ACOS, the bid steps up. At or between 15% and 40%, the bid stays put. Book-level totals without target rows do not produce a bid change. Every applied change, skip, cap pause, or refusal is written to that book’s change log. The log shows what ran. It does not promise that the change improved sales.
What BookAdsAI will not do
Autopilot will not launch Recovery campaigns. A campaign name that matches Launch Recovery is refused even if its ID is on the allowlist. It will not raise a bid without the 10% step and the $2.50 ceiling. It will not select AUTO_FOR_SALES targeting by default. It will not add product targets before an ENABLED product ad exists for the book ASIN. It will not edit a campaign that is not on the allowlist.
It will not invent keywords or forecast sales. There is no separate mode that finds winning search terms, and it does not harvest phrase or broad keywords at zero clicks. A target with fewer than 5 clicks is left unchanged. BookAdsAI does not publish success rates, awards, or a claim that authors earn a stated amount. Amazon still bills the Ads account. BookAdsAI is not Amazon and is not liable for ad performance, royalties, or KDP account status. The terms are on the terms page.
What the BookAdsAI subscription costs
Public monthly prices are Starter $29, Pro $49, and Agency $99. Those are the Stripe amounts on the pricing page. Starter, Pro, and Agency are three monthly amounts for the same Autopilot. The app does not unlock a different catalog, a higher bid ceiling, or a different rule set because the plan name is Pro or Agency. Checkout uses the first Stripe price configured on the server, which is typically Starter.
Card numbers stay at Stripe. After you subscribe, Settings opens the Stripe customer portal so you can cancel the subscription yourself. Canceling BookAdsAI billing does not delete the campaigns in your Amazon Ads account. The subscription is not your ad budget. Amazon Ads spend is a separate charge, and you are responsible for it. Profit on the dashboard still means royalties minus ad spend from reports that landed, not a projection that covers the subscription.
What is BookAdsAI in one paragraph?
BookAdsAI is Amazon Ads autopilot for Kindle authors, published at bookadsai.com. You connect a US Amazon Ads profile, sync books that belong to you, set a daily spend cap, allowlist campaigns, and optionally set a book Live. New books stay Paused. BookAdsAI does not guarantee a profit, and it is not part of Amazon.
Does BookAdsAI manage Amazon KDP ads?
It works with Amazon Ads for books you advertise. KDP authors often use those ads, especially Sponsored Products, to promote a Kindle title. BookAdsAI is not KDP. It does not edit your KDP listing, upload a manuscript, or replace KDP royalty reports.
Is BookAdsAI part of Amazon?
No. BookAdsAI is not part of Amazon. Amazon Ads, Kindle, and KDP are Amazon services with their own accounts and policies. When a book is Live, the daily job may pause or rebid campaigns on that book’s allowlist after reports land. Amazon still bills the Ads account.
How much does BookAdsAI cost?
Public monthly prices are Starter $29, Pro $49, and Agency $99. The three plans use the same Autopilot. Cancel in the Stripe customer portal from Settings. That subscription does not include the money Amazon charges for ad clicks.
Use BookAdsAI
Create an account, then connect a US Amazon Ads profile from Settings. New books stay Paused until you set a daily spend cap, confirm the allowlist, and turn that book Live.
Profit = royalties − ad spend, from reports that landed. Cancel in Stripe yourself.
